INFORMATION

USEFUL INFORMATION

Briefing (during each day a mandatory briefing for each pilot is carried out in the morning before taking to the track).

– 2 people per car maximum in the front seats.

– Mandatory wearing of a helmet (pilot as passenger).

– Remove all moving objects from the car (no panniers on the back seat, etc.).

– Passenger 16 years old minimum.

– Don't forget your tow hook (check that it is present before setting off).

– The maximum opening of the window is 2 fingers high, because in the event of an accident the reflex movement is   put your hand on the ground, if the window is not lowered, your arms will come to rest against.

– When overtaking, do not slow down in a straight line to make it easier to overtake the driver who is catching up with you, simply keep your line and avoid late braking, without braking much earlier either, this could surprise the other driver and be dangerous. No warning either to indicate that the driver can overtake, just concentrate on your driving.

– On leaving the Pitlane, when you enter the circuit, do not cut the strips which delimit the track access (do not cut off the road to drivers already on the track, they have priority).

– Do not overdrive and do not hesitate to rest and let your car rest (hence the interest of open driving).

-Hans mandatory for racing cars.

 - The flags to know in trackdays:

– Yellow flag: danger and no overtaking, one waved flag = slow down, two waved flags = slow down and prepare to stop if necessary.

– Red flag: interruption of the race (only on order of the race direction).

– Flag with red and yellow stripes: change in grip (often oil or water on the track).

– Black flag: with presentation of the number of a car, disqualification of the driver concerned.

– Blue flag: on the track, a car with a lap lead is about to pass you. Coming out of the pits, he signals a car on the track. May be waved to indicate a warning to pass up.

– Black flag: with presentation of the number of a car, disqualification of the driver concerned.

– Checkered flag: finish of the race or end of the practice or qualifying session.
